Windows Live Messenger 14.0.8117.416 (Offline Installer)

Windows Live Messenger (formerly named MSN Messenger) is an instant messaging client created by Microsoft that is currently designed to work with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Mobile. The client has been part of Microsoft's Windows Live set of online services since 2005. It connects to Microsoft's .NET Messenger Service. The client was first released as MSN Messenger on July 22, 1999, and as Windows Live Messenger on December 13, 2005. The service attracts over 330 million active users each month.
The major use of MSN Messenger is for instant messaging, although other features which now come as standard include support for voice conversations, webcams (MSN Messenger 7.0 and later feature full screen audio video conversations), transferring files, and built-in multi-user online games such as Tic Tac Toe. In a similar vein to many of MSN Messenger's competitors, MSN Messenger allows messages to be enlivened with graphical emoticons, sometimes called smileys, Flash animations called winks, animated display pictures, styled text, and many more with third-party add-ons.
Windows Live Messenger Features
  • Sharing Folders - When a user wants to deliver a file to another person on his or her contact list, the "sharing folder" window appears, which is an individualized representation of all previously shared items.
  • VOIP Service - Users can make free PC-to-PC calls and also low cost PC-to-Phone in the latest versions of the Live Messenger.
  • Now Yahoo Messenger users and MSN Messenger users can talk to each other using only single client.
  • Users can send offline messages to other users
  • There are various games and applications available in Windows Live Messenger that can be accessed via the conversation window by clicking on the games icon, and challenging your friend or contact to a competition in a game, or inviting them to launch a shared external application.
  • Windows Live Messenger is integrated in Xbox 360

uTorrent 3.0 Beta 25220

µTorrent is a small and incredibly popular BitTorrent client.
Micro-Sized Yet Feature Filled
Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in µTorrent, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS auto-downloading and Mainline DHT (compatible with BitComet). Additionally, µTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.
Resource-Friendly
µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 220 KB in size.
Skinnable and Localized
Various icon, toolbar graphic and status icon replacements are available, and creating your own is very simple. µTorrent also has support for localization, and with a language file present, will automatically switch to your system language. If your language isn't available, you can easily add your own, or edit other existing translations to improve them!
Actively Developed and Improved
The developer puts in a lot of time working on features and making things more user-friendly. Releases only come out when they're ready, with no schedule pressures, so the few bugs that appear are quickly addressed and fixed.

Dell Optiplex GX260 Drivers

WHAT'S HOT: Like the OptiPlex models before it, the sturdy GX260 is clearly designed with IT managers in mind, with features such as the ability to check the serial numbers of components and alert an administrator over the network if a part fails. It ships with client management software for remote troubleshooting and system-wide software installations, as well as a capability for chassis intrusion alerts. And unlike systems in the earlier GX240 line, you can configure GX260 units with a lower-cost Celeron processor (instead of a Pentium 4) for situations where you don't need much processing power. The GX260's design gives it the flexibility of an under-the-desk midsize tower or an on-its-side desktop; paired with Dell's 15-inch flat-panel display, the PC should fit well into small offices.

Press the oval button on the case's top, and the GX260 splits into two halves (much like laying a book on its binding and opening it in the middle), revealing a spacious interior that makes servicing easy. You won't need to lug around a tool set to add or replace parts. In fact, every component inside the case can be removed without tools.
WHAT'S NOT: Despite its Intel 2.53-GHz Pentium 4 processor and 256MB of DDR SDRAM, this OptiPlex's PC Worldbench 4 score of 112 is significantly below the average for its processor class. Most of the 2.53-GHz machines we've tested have 512MB or more of RAM, and their average is about 119. So it's possible that the smaller amount of RAM on this Dell had an appreciable effect on its speed.
WHAT ELSE: Intel's 845G chip set handles the video and audio, but as with all such integrated features, it uses a chunk of system memory to accomplish the task--in this case, up to 48MB (which may also have contributed to the below-average performance score). Integrated graphics also means this PC wouldn't be suitable for those who need high-end graphics performance, although an AGP slot lets you add a graphics card. The system lacks FireWire (IEEE 1394) ports, but it does have four USB 2.0 ports, two of them on the case front.

The black, thin E151FP 15-inch LCD monitor doesn't offer many extras like tilt or pivot capabilities, but it displayed text on business documents crisply, and colors looked bright on test photos at its native 1024 by 768 resolution.

For a corporate PC, this OptiPlex has sufficient room for expansion: Our test model had four open, easily accessible PCI slots (two on a riser card), plus one vacant memory socket, and three open storage bays capable of handling hard drives or optical and other removable-media drives.

The 40GB hard drive is more in line with a value-priced system than a power one these days, but is sufficient for most networked corporate environments. The die-hard floppy drive and--in a nod toward efficient use of drive bays--a double-duty DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive expand storage. The keyboard is bare-bones fare--no extras such as hot-keys--but the spacebar and keys felt responsive in our typing tests.
UPSHOT: With its flexible design and adaptable case, the GX260 will fit into a wide range of corporate applications. However, we'd recommend more than 256MB of RAM if you want to get the most out of its top-end Pentium 4 processor.

Dell OptiPlex GX520 Drivers

The Dell Optiplex Gx520 has been an awesome computer for me! I have owned it for just around two years and have had no large system crashes or problems which reguired major repairs! The system came with a standard 19 inch CRT monitor, 40gb hard drive, and 512mb or ram! The Pentium4 processor is installed and still allows you to compute at a high speed connection via ethernet cable! Overall in todays computing this one will be considered “stone aged” but has held up to the hands of time and provided me with a longevity not known for all of todays computers! There are plenty of usb ports for external capabilites and was installed with Windows XP Professional! With such a small amount of memory and little hard drive space routine maitence on this system is a must to keep it running well, and is not a PC you want to play modern day video games for sure! Great for the light computer user and has gave me no major problems as far as software and hardware are concerned! Would recomend to a potential buyer but with the “vintage” and out dated technolgy the price should be comparable to that type of system! Worth the money you will spend though and would eaisly buy the new and improved version of this computer considering the experience I had with this system!

Dell Gx270 Drivers

The Dell OptiPlex GX270 targets corporate users with its versatile features and speedy Intel 865G chipset.
The words 'cutting edge technology' and 'corporate desktop PC' aren't often uttered together, and with very good reason; there's little need for most corporate buyers to make additional expenditures for the latest and greatest when the tested, tried and somewhat cheaper will work just as well. Dell's Optiplex series of desktop machines has generally trod this line, but with the Optiplex GX270 they've branched out into tech that's not quite bleeding edge, but certainly is enough ahead of the game that it should provide a decent future life cycle for the machine, maximising your overall ROI (Return On Investment).
Springdale-Powered
Chief amongst the GX270's bag of tech tricks is the use of Intel's core 865G chipset. The 865G, formerly codenamed Springdale, offers a snappy 800MHz FSB and integrated 8x AGP graphics using Intel's own Extreme Graphics 2 solution, something that's probably overkill for most corporate systems. The 865G also supports dual channel 400MHz DDR RAM; the 2.6GHz P4 unit we examined came with 512MB of memory, with 64MB of that memory on call to be utilised by the integrated graphics chip.
The 865G is the smaller brother of Intel's 875 chipset, which offers additional functionality to reduce system latency, but at a higher overall system cost. In effect, you're not getting the most cutting edge performance, but you are investing in some supposedly futureproof technologies. The GX270's 865G implementation comes with integrated Gigabit networking and the option for serial ATA drives if you want particularly high-speed performance.
External Features
Dell seems to have taken a page out of its consumer style book with the GX270's case; the small desktop case we looked at has a snap-away compartment on the front that conceals two of the system's 8 USB 2.0 ports, as well as a headphone jack, something that employees will probably appreciate more than management.

The case itself is Dell's usual black affair, something to keep in mind if you're going to have the unit anywhere near public display; black optical drives are notoriously hard to get hold of if you handle repairs in-house. The unit that we tested came with an integrated floppy drive, but that's something that Dell views as an optional extra these days; the GX270 is set up to be bootable from any USB storage device as a standby.
Service And Support
The GX270 ships with a boot partition containing a comprehensive suite of diagnostic testing tools for every component on the system board, a useful facility for locally or remotely testing system components and hopefully minimising downtime. Likewise, Dell's client configuration utility can be used for remote BIOS and OS updating if you've got a small army of malfunctioning GX270's to deal with. If matters get particularly out of hand, Dell offers a 3 year next business day warranty with the GX270.
